LOS is in the middle of preparation of the Living library in Zittau.

Our setting of the LL will be only part of the big event in Zittau = LearnFEST. That means that there
will be aproximately 2000 visitors. So the first question was – How many books we want? In the plan
is 3x6 books = 18 books from 3 countries. We aimed this LL in the topic ,,National stereotypes“.
The reader wil come to librarian and he will introduce him to the methodology and offer him a list
of books. After choosing the reader will sign a list of rules (for example: Do not take the book from
library.) and read the book for 30 minutes in a special room. After that he will fill in an evaluation form
a maybe he will borrow the next book.
The library will be open from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. and everyone will have a refresment (drink, food and
time for relax). Considering that we will do it in three languages we also need interpreters. They will be
in the same place where will be books and they will be prepare to help with communication.

Living Library in Liberec
We had a meeting with library (Reasearch Library of Liberec) where we discussed the basic setting of
the living library in Liberec. It will be in March during the months of readers and it will be in the topic
of stereotypes (like homosexuals, junkies, muslims, jewish,...). We devided roles and we created a
working plan. We also created a list of responsibilities.
